The United States Judo Federation is a non-profit organization that provides national standards and guidelines for the development of grassroots judo for its students and members.

The vision of USJF is to have JUDO in every American community and school.

Our mission is to serve and support our members in the American judo community while upholding the principles of mutual welfare and benefit.

USA's Judo Power Women in Rio 2016

At the 2016 US National Championships in Dallas in early April, Charles Medani, the USJF Roving Reporter, spoke with the three women who are representing the US Olympic Team in Rio in August.

Angelica DelgadoThe first interview was with Angelica Delgado.

She is currently ranked 25th in the world in the women’s 52 kg class.

The second interview was with Marti Malloy.

She is currently ranked 5th in the International Judo Federation’s World Ranking List, and will be seeded #3 at the Rio Olympics in the -57 kg division.

The third interview was with Kayla Harrison.

Kayla Harrison will be representing the United States in the -78 kg division in Rio de Janeiro. She is currently ranked #1 in the world, and will be the top seed at the Rio Olympics.
